Founded in Darden, Tennessee, prior to the Civil War, Corinth Baptist Church was
named for one of the early churches established by the Apostle Paul.
Henry
Newman was the founder and first preacher at Corinth. Records of all
the early pastors of the Church are not available. The following is a list of

On September 22, 1896, William
Henry Davis donated one and a half acres of land to Corinth Church for the purpose
of building a church house and grave yard.
