Tikvah b'Yeshua is a non-aligned
messianic congregation that serves the central Arkansas area. We believe
that Yeshua ("Jesus") is the prophesied Messiah sent into the
world by the heavenly Father. We also believe that the Eternal's will for
mankind is found in both the Old and New Testaments. Therefore, we obey
and teach the Torah as well as the New Testament.
We meet at 1:30 pm every Sabbath at our location south of Vilonia, Arkansas.
We begin by asking for prayer requests and/or praise reports. Then our
formal services start with an opening prayer. After the prayer, the Shema
is canted in Hebrew and interpreted in English. The congregation then sings
several praise and worship songs accompanied by guitar and other musical
instuments. Afterward, a Bible study is conducted by one of the elders
of the group. We conclude by reciting the V'ahavta in Hebrew and interpreting
it in English, and then end with a closing prayer. A potluck meal is shared
by the congregation shortly after the service ends (We eat only clean meats
Lev. 7:19;10-10;11-47).
